Booking Terms & Conditions

By booking with Alkebulan Paradise Safaris, you agree to the following terms

1 Booking & Payments

All bookings are subject to availability and these terms:

  • A 30% deposit is required to confirm your booking
  • Full payment must be received 60 days before departure
  • Payments can be made via credit card, bank transfer, or approved payment platforms
  • We reserve the right to cancel bookings with unpaid balances

Note: All prices are in USD and subject to change due to currency fluctuations, tax changes, or other factors beyond our control.

2 Cancellations & Refunds

Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair while accounting for commitments to our partners:

30-59 days 50% of total 50% refund
15-29 days 75% of total 25% refund
0-14 days 100% of total No refund

Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of cancellation notice.

3 Travel Documents & Requirements

It is your responsibility to ensure you have all required documents:

  • Valid passport with at least 6 months validity
  • Required visas for all countries visited
  • Vaccination certificates if required (e.g., Yellow Fever)
  • Travel insurance documentation

Important: We are not responsible for denied entry due to improper documentation. No refunds will be given in such cases.

4 Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all travelers:

  • Must cover medical expenses, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation, and loss of personal items
  • Proof of insurance must be provided before departure
  • We recommend purchasing insurance immediately after booking

5 Health & Safety

Your safety is our priority, but certain risks are inherent in safari travel:

  • Follow all guide instructions during wildlife encounters
  • Disclose any medical conditions that may affect your participation
  • Malaria prophylaxis is recommended for most destinations
  • We reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone deemed unfit

6 Itinerary Changes

While we strive to adhere to published itineraries:

  • We may modify routes, accommodations, or activities due to weather, safety, or other operational considerations
  • No refunds will be given for minor itinerary changes
  • Significant changes will be communicated promptly

7 Liability Limitations

Our liability is limited as follows:

  • We are not liable for personal injury, illness, or death unless caused by our negligence
  • We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings
  • We are not liable for events beyond our control (force majeure)

8 Photography & Media

By participating in our safaris:

  • You grant us permission to use photos/videos for promotional purposes
  • Professional photographers may accompany select departures
  • Drones may only be used with prior written permission

9 Complaints & Disputes

In the rare event of dissatisfaction:

  • Notify your guide immediately to allow on-the-spot resolution
  • Submit formal complaints in writing within 30 days of trip completion
  • Any disputes shall be governed by Kenyan law
